Job Description
Manager, Partnership Development enhancing food access by building partnerships in agriculture and food sectors. Working across Canada to secure food donations through collaboration and strategic outreach.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and implement strategies to acquire food
- Work closely with the food bank network to ensure the efficient recovery and distribution of donated food
- Cultivate relationships with agricultural producer groups and industry partners
- Manage and execute targeted sales and strategic plans to increase food donations
- Create and deliver high impact presentations for potential donors
Requirements:
- Completion of an undergraduate degree or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years of sales and/or fundraising experience
- Demonstrated experience in agriculture, agri-business and or food procurement and sales
- Bilingualism (English/French) is considered a strong asset
- Highly energetic and enthusiastic, takes initiative with a strong sense of urgency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
