Job Description

Merchandiser for Sleeman Breweries enhancing product visibility in Montreal and Laval. Collaborating with sales team to boost customer satisfaction and executing effective merchandising strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • As a merchandiser covering the Montreal (Downtown, Plateau, Rosemont, NDG) and Laval territories, you will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and to the optimal visibility of our products at retail locations.
  • In-store merchandising and execution
  • Ensure product rotation and check freshness codes/dates.
  • Install merchandising and promotional materials at the point of sale (POS) to support promotions or product launches.
  • Support the regional sales team in achieving targets.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers and perform regular follow-up.
  • Attend team meetings and share customer feedback and business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum one year of customer service experience in a retail environment.
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field or equivalent experience (asset).
  • Proficiency in English is an asset for interacting with some customers.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to develop solid professional relationships both internally and externally.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with excellent presentation abilities.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in the alcoholic beverage industry (asset).
  • Valid driver's license and access to personal transportation required.
