Job Description
National operations manager optimizing employee benefits brokerage workflows across the United States. Driving compliance, automation, KPIs, and process improvement with regional and senior leaders.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement national standards and best practices for Employee Benefits operations
- Identify inefficiencies and lead initiatives to streamline workflows, improve accuracy, and enhance productivity across regions
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and audit standards; monitor risk and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with IT and business leaders to optimize agency management systems and leverage automation tools
- Establish KPIs and reporting dashboards to measure operational effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
- Partner with regional operations leaders, client service teams, and senior management to align operational initiatives with business objectives
- Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to regional teams on operational policies, procedures, and system utilization
- Lead operational integration efforts during mergers, acquisitions, or organizational restructuring
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field
- 6–8 years in insurance brokerage operations, with demonstrated expertise in Employee Benefits and process improvement
- Advanced knowledge of operational best practices and process improvement methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data and drive decisions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with agency management platforms
- Ability to influence and lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority
- Strong understanding of employee benefits workflows, compliance requirements, and agency management systems
- Experience with national or multi-regional operational oversight and change management initiatives
