Job Description

NetSuite Accountant managing GL operations, reconciliations, and reporting for a US healthcare management organization. Supporting NetSuite integrations, dashboards, controls, and remote end users.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post journal entries; manage AP/AR workflows
  • Perform daily cash and monthly bank reconciliations; handle allocations
  • Maintain accounting data accuracy and support adherence to controls
  • Execute reconciliations, accruals, variance checks, schedules, and month-end close documentation
  • Ensure timely close across subsidiaries and segments; proactively resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain audit-ready support and follow approval processes
  • Maintain chart of accounts, accounting segments, subsidiary structure, and related master data
  • Enforce data standards and documentation for account mappings and classifications
  • Partner with the Accounting Manager on updates and improvements
  • Build and maintain NetSuite saved searches, financial reports, dashboards, and recurring analyses
  • Deliver timely insights for accounting and operational stakeholders
  • Drive report adoption and consistency with internal reporting conventions
  • Assist with Paylocity, billing-system, and bank-feed integrations
  • Review and reconcile imported data
  • Troubleshoot NetSuite errors and support end users
  • Document recurring issues and escalate complex technical or accounting matters with clear context

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of staff accounting or general ledger experience, including journal entries, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, allocations, and month-end close
  • Hands-on Oracle NetSuite experience strongly preferred, including saved searches, reports, dashboards, and user support/troubleshooting
  • Strong knowledge of chart of accounts, subsidiary accounting, accounting segments, and financial master data
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for reconciliations and analyses
  • Oracle NetSuite administration at the user/power-user level
  • Experience building saved searches, reports, and dashboards
  • AP/AR and GL expertise; bank reconciliations; accruals and allocations; data validation
  • Familiarity with Paylocity, billing systems, and bank feeds
  • Flawless attention to detail, documentation discipline, organization, and time management
  • Root-cause analysis, variance investigation, and process improvement skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication; ability to support end users and escalate issues with context
  • High integrity, confidentiality with financial data, and adherence to accounting controls
  • Computer with at least 8GB RAM and an Intel i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 processor or higher
  • Internet speed of at least 40MBPS
  • Headset with extended noise-canceling microphone and webcam
  • Backup computer and internet connection

  • Reliable internet connection
  • Own computer with Intel Core i5 or similar or higher
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm Pacific Time
