Job Description

Neuroscience sales representative driving CAPLYTA adoption for Johnson & Johnson’s psychiatry business. Educating healthcare professionals and delivering territory sales plans across Jacksonville and Daytona Beach.

Responsibilities:

  • Support clients in the Jacksonville, Florida territory
  • Meet or exceed sales expectations within assigned geographies ethically and compliantly
  • Identify customer needs, align marketing resources, and support pull-through activities
  • Develop product and disease-state knowledge and engage healthcare professionals in clinical dialogue
  • Educate healthcare professionals on clinical evidence, approved indications, and product efficacy and safety
  • Create local strategic and tactical plans and manage resource allocation, budgets, and expenses
  • Call on primarily Primary Care healthcare professional offices and selected targets in person and virtually
  • Maintain understanding of local markets, practice structures, customers, and key influencers
  • Share market intelligence with internal stakeholders and provide input on resource allocation
  • Deliver compliant educational programs for healthcare providers
  • Develop local business plans with the District Manager and stakeholders
  • Capitalize on formulary approvals and business opportunities
  • Collaborate with Neuroscience Sales Specialist-II colleagues and share best practices
  • Maintain accurate work-hour, sales-call, customer-objective, communication, synchronization, sample, and expense reports
  • Complete assigned company and job-related training

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • 1+ years of documented success in B2B sales experience
  • Previous sales experience in pharmaceuticals, biologics, and/or medical device sales preferred
  • Antipsychotic and/or bipolar sales experience is a plus
  • Strong desire and passion for improving the lives of patients and caregivers
  • High integrity and compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Self-motivation, initiative, entrepreneurial mindset, decision-making judgment, teaming/collaboration, and cross-functional skills
  • Proven success learning and adapting in an evolving environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing telemedicine/virtual environments
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics, assess progress, diagnose performance issues, and identify opportunities
  • Strong verbal, presentation, and listening skills
  • Experience establishing customer relationships and communicating technical information to diverse audiences
  • Willingness to work meetings outside normal working hours
  • Willingness to undertake occasional overnight travel and periodic domestic travel
  • Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
