Job Description

Entry-level NOC Administrator role at Summit handling system and network alerts. Responsible for incident management and ensuring service stability in a 24/7 operational environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor infrastructure, network, and application alerts using approved monitoring tools
  • Acknowledge, triage, and document incidents in the ticketing system
  • Perform basic validation and troubleshooting steps using runbooks
  • Escalate unresolved or higher-severity issues to senior NOC or engineering teams
  • Support scheduled maintenance windows and routine operational tasks
  • Maintain accurate ticket notes and shift handoff documentation
  • Follow standard operating procedures and security guidelines

Requirements:

  • Enjoy structured processes and working from defined procedures
  • Have strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Communicate clearly in written and verbal formats
  • Stay calm and methodical when responding to alerts or incidents
  • Are comfortable working in a shift-based or 24/7 operational environment
  • Are curious about infrastructure, networking, or systems operations and eager to learn
  • Exposure to monitoring or ticketing tools (Bonus Points)
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as IP, DNS, or TCP/UDP (Bonus Points)
  • Familiarity with Windows or Linux environments (Bonus Points)
  • Prior help desk, MSP, or technical support experience (Bonus Points)
  • Entry-level technical certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, etc.) (Bonus Points)
