Job Description
On-Page SEO Specialist responsible for optimizing website content and elements to drive organic traffic. Collaborating with various teams to implement on-page SEO best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Optimize page titles, meta descriptions, headers, copy, and internal links.
- Ensure pages align with target keywords, search intent, and SEO best practices.
- Improve crawlability, indexation, and on-page performance signals.
- Partner with Content and Creative to optimize existing pages and support new page creation.
- Map keywords to pages and avoid cannibalization issues.
- Support local and service-based SEO initiatives with optimized landing pages.
- Conduct regular on-page SEO audits to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Maintain SEO standards and checklists across website updates.
- Ensure SEO considerations are reflected in new content and page launches.
- Track rankings, CTR, traffic, and on-page performance metrics.
- Measure impact of on-page changes on traffic quality and conversion.
- Share insights and recommendations with stakeholders.
- Work with Website, Product, and Engineering teams to support SEO-friendly implementations.
- Collaborate with Growth and Revenue to align SEO with business goals.
- Act as an on-page SEO subject-matter expert internally.
Requirements:
- 2–5+ years of experience in on-page SEO or content optimization roles.
- Strong understanding of search intent, keyword research, and on-page best practices.
- Experience optimizing content for rankings and conversion.
- Comfortable working with analytics and SEO tools.
- Strong attention to detail and structured thinking.
- Preferred Experience in marketplaces, local services, or multi-location SEO.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms and content workflows.
- Basic understanding of technical SEO concepts.
