Job Description
Onboarding Specialist II managing compliant employee onboarding for Modivcare’s home-care workforce. Completing documentation, audits, HR-platform updates, and bilingual English-Spanish new-hire support.
Responsibilities:
- Execute administrative onboarding tasks to ensure employees are compliant and eligible to begin their first billable shift.
- Complete administrative and compliance onboarding from point of hire through assignment readiness.
- Perform I-9 Form completion, state background checks, and reference verifications.
- Prioritize and manage workload based on task aging, urgency, and operational priorities.
- Review and validate medical documentation for employment and regulatory compliance.
- Audit and upload onboarding packets for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation.
- Create and maintain employee profiles in the home care platform.
- Conduct regular file audits for onboarding standards and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address onboarding challenges and ensure employee readiness.
- Contribute to process improvements and workflow efficiency.
- Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Use HR platforms including Workday, ADP, ApplicantStack, i9 Vantage, and Verified First.
- Process assigned tickets from the internal ticketing system.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of highly sensitive materials.
- Participate in other assigned projects or duties.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required.
- One (1) plus years of experience.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Extensive computer and telephone use.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of highly sensitive materials.
- Ability to perform primarily seated work, with occasional standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting up to 10 lbs.
