Job Description
Operations Lead overseeing logistics operations in Poland for CHEP. Ensuring compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement in third-party service center operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations at third-party service centers and TPMs within the assigned region
- Ensure full compliance with established standards, policies, and procedures across the network
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with third-party providers
- Collaborate with site leadership to address operational challenges and implement improvements
- Utilize operational data and performance metrics to evaluate the health and efficiency of third-party sites
- Identify opportunities for safety enhancements and recommend investments to optimize productivity
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor and manage service center expenditures
- Track and analyze Cost Per Pallet (CPP) performance
- Manage between 4 to 7 third party plant operations
- Ensure operational effectiveness, cost efficiency, desired quality and safety measures are met
- Represent the operations function and actively contribute to local country and commercial strategic business plan.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors/ master’s degree in engineering, Business, Operations, Logistics or equivalent
- Experience working in an international matrix organisation
- Negotiation and contract background
- Experience with budget management
- Previous logistics/supply chain/distribution/shipping experience
- Polish & English language skills required.
