Job Description

Operations Manager managing transaction workflows and operational procedures for a private money lending firm. Seeking a highly organized and independent individual to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute tasks within a comprehensive loan checklist, accurately extracting data from loan applications and legal agreements with extreme attention to detail.
  • Source, vet, interview, and manage contractors on platforms like Fiverr for one-off projects.
  • Independently map out workflows and build clear video tutorials and documentation using tools like Scribe and screen recorders.
  • Manage professional email and phone correspondence with banks, title companies, and borrowers to collect post-closing documentation.
  • Learn and maintain proprietary loan processing software (Mortgage Automator), alongside managing everyday internal operations via Monday.com and Slack.
  • Handle abstract or novel operational requests independently.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in operations, administrative management, executive assistance, or project coordination—ideally within a fast-moving, remote environment.
  • Strong mastery of Excel and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
  • Native or advanced fluent English proficiency (both written and verbal).
  • A personality that values absolute directness, transparency, and constructive feedback.
  • Proven ability to figure things out without hand-holding.
  • High attention to detail.
