Job Description
Operations Manager managing transaction workflows and operational procedures for a private money lending firm. Seeking a highly organized and independent individual to ensure seamless operations.
Responsibilities:
- Execute tasks within a comprehensive loan checklist, accurately extracting data from loan applications and legal agreements with extreme attention to detail.
- Source, vet, interview, and manage contractors on platforms like Fiverr for one-off projects.
- Independently map out workflows and build clear video tutorials and documentation using tools like Scribe and screen recorders.
- Manage professional email and phone correspondence with banks, title companies, and borrowers to collect post-closing documentation.
- Learn and maintain proprietary loan processing software (Mortgage Automator), alongside managing everyday internal operations via Monday.com and Slack.
- Handle abstract or novel operational requests independently.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in operations, administrative management, executive assistance, or project coordination—ideally within a fast-moving, remote environment.
- Strong mastery of Excel and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
- Native or advanced fluent English proficiency (both written and verbal).
- A personality that values absolute directness, transparency, and constructive feedback.
- Proven ability to figure things out without hand-holding.
- High attention to detail.
