Job Description
Payment Operations Intern managing data quality, reporting, and support for Rainforest's embedded-payments platform. Gaining hands-on fintech operations experience and presenting a semester project.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage operational data used by the support team and AI support agent
- Find and fix data quality issues
- Help design processes that prevent recurring data quality issues
- Build basic reports showing business activity
- Learn customer support and draft replies to platform questions under the support lead's guidance
- Present semester work to the company at the end of the term
- Work on real operational data and customer questions
- Complete a resume-ready project
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a business degree or similar
- Available 20 to 40 hours per week from January 11 through June 2027
- Comfortable in Excel or Google Sheets
- Clear, careful writer
- Curious, coachable, and comfortable asking questions
- 2 to 3 core hours overlapping Eastern time
- Visa sponsorship is unavailable; applicants must not require visa transfer or sponsorship
- Based in Atlanta is nice to have
- Interest in payments, fintech, or operations is nice to have
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude is nice to have
