Job Description
Service contracts analyst managing activations, amendments, billing, and revenue schedules for Motorola Solutions’ public-safety technologies. Supporting enterprise workflows across IT, finance, and customer operations.
Responsibilities:
- Activate service agreements and maintenance contracts according to organizational policies and customer commitments
- Execute contract change requests, renewals, and lifecycle adjustments
- Review legal documents and confirm approvals before contract activation
- Analyze transaction types and accounting treatments for billing and operational consistency
- Oversee log credits and financial adjustments across customer accounts
- Analyze revenue recognition milestones and billing schedules
- Resolve service requests and inquiry cases within established service levels
- Partner with IT to troubleshoot system discrepancies and improve enterprise platform workflows
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure operational continuity
- Manage service contracts in Oracle R12 and evaluate billing/revenue schedules
- Use Service Cloud for case management and customer inquiries
- Organize, audit, and analyze operational datasets using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Research discrepancies, evaluate data trends, and deliver resolution strategies
- Partner with technical, operational, and financial teams
- Maintain documentation standards and complete tasks independently
Requirements:
- Associates Degree
- 2+ years of Support or Service Contract / Contract Management experience
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required
- Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position
- Experience with Sales Management System (SMS) preferred
- Familiarity with service revenue recognition principles and internal commercial agreements preferred
- Under 10% travel
- Willingness to work in Illinois Remote Work Schaumburg, IL
