Job Description

Payroll Coordinator managing outsourced payroll, tax compliance, and provider relationships across Europe for Grandstand’s sports, gaming, and entertainment intelligence businesses. Six-month fixed contract in Ireland, remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws, labour regulations, and reporting requirements across every jurisdiction of operation
  • Coordinate and maintain relationships with outsourced payroll service providers across Europe
  • Review and audit provider performance for accuracy and alignment with Grandstand's standards
  • Partner with service providers and Finance to resolve payroll-related issues and escalations
  • Streamline data collection, input, and reporting across the payroll function
  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll tax filings and submissions
  • Coordinate with Finance and Legal on compliance matters
  • Respond to employee inquiries about payroll, taxes, and deductions
  • Identify and implement payroll process improvements with cross-functional teams
  • Prepare and present payroll data for management reporting and audits
  • Liaise with HR on payroll-impacting benefits
  • Use AI-enabled tools to improve analysis, reporting, and process efficiency while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and data protection
  • Support management-assigned special projects

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a payroll coordinator, specialist, or administrator role, ideally with exposure to European/multi-country payroll
  • Experience managing or coordinating with outsourced payroll providers or bureaus — not just processing payroll in-house
  • Solid working knowledge of PAYE, tax compliance, and labour regulations in at least one European jurisdiction
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, and HR
  • Strong attention to detail and a high bar for accuracy when handling sensitive employee data
  • Available to start within a short timeframe given the contract nature of the role
  • Comfortable using AI tools to enhance productivity, reporting, and day-to-day efficiency
  • IPASS qualification (Certificate in Payroll Techniques or above) — nice-to-have
  • Experience with payroll systems such as UKG, Symplify, or similar HRIS/payroll platforms — nice-to-have
  • Prior experience in a fast-scaling or multi-entity organisation — nice-to-have

Benefits:

  • Comprehensive private Healthcare Insurance
  • Flexible work environment and home office available
  • Home office allowance
  • Gym & Leisure Allowance
  • All the hardware and software you need to be successful
  • Regular company events and social outings
  • Activities, Spot Awards and a Monthly Social Club
  • Access to courses for Personal and Career Development
  • Company Paid Volunteer Day
