Job Description

Payroll Specialist managing payroll for hourly and commission-based teams in the exercise industry. Ensuring timely and compliant payroll processing while maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for hourly staff, commission earners, and tip-based employees on a regular schedule (biweekly)
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
  • Maintain accurate employee and payroll records
  • Manage payroll changes including new hires, terminations, promotions, deductions, and tip reporting

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of US payroll processing experience
  • Experience with Booker and Gusto platforms is an advantage
  • Knowledge of payroll regulations, including handling tips and commission-based pay
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
