Job Description
PeopleSoft HR/Payroll Consultant leading assessment and implementation of HR tech systems enhancements. Strategically developing solutions and optimizing integrations with PeopleSoft and third-party systems.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the assessment and implementation of the PeopleSoft Person Model, specifically focusing on Person of Interest (POI) and Hire/Rehire workflows
- Design and maintain solutions using the full PeopleTools suite (Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, and Component Interface)
- Review, modify, and support COBOL programs tied to HCM batch processes
- Build and optimize integrations between PeopleSoft and external systems, including Identity Management, payroll vendors, and onboarding tools
- Evaluate current configurations to recommend scalable implementation approaches and ensure data integrity through expert-level knowledge of effective dating logic
- Create high-quality technical documentation and provide hands-on training to internal teams to ensure long-term system sustainability
Requirements:
- Deep hands-on experience with PeopleSoft HCM, the Person Model, and Fluid UI
- Mastery of PeopleTools and a proven track record of supporting PeopleSoft Payroll processes
- Comfortable maintaining and enhancing COBOL programs within a PeopleSoft environment
- A profound understanding of HR data structures and the nuances of effective dating
- Experience connecting PeopleSoft to third-party platforms (Benefits, Payroll, IDM)
