Job Description

PeopleSoft HR/Payroll Consultant leading assessment and implementation of HR tech systems enhancements. Strategically developing solutions and optimizing integrations with PeopleSoft and third-party systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the assessment and implementation of the PeopleSoft Person Model, specifically focusing on Person of Interest (POI) and Hire/Rehire workflows
  • Design and maintain solutions using the full PeopleTools suite (Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, and Component Interface)
  • Review, modify, and support COBOL programs tied to HCM batch processes
  • Build and optimize integrations between PeopleSoft and external systems, including Identity Management, payroll vendors, and onboarding tools
  • Evaluate current configurations to recommend scalable implementation approaches and ensure data integrity through expert-level knowledge of effective dating logic
  • Create high-quality technical documentation and provide hands-on training to internal teams to ensure long-term system sustainability

Requirements:

  • Deep hands-on experience with PeopleSoft HCM, the Person Model, and Fluid UI
  • Mastery of PeopleTools and a proven track record of supporting PeopleSoft Payroll processes
  • Comfortable maintaining and enhancing COBOL programs within a PeopleSoft environment
  • A profound understanding of HR data structures and the nuances of effective dating
  • Experience connecting PeopleSoft to third-party platforms (Benefits, Payroll, IDM)
