Job Description
People Operations Generalist running HR programs, benefits, compliance, and employee lifecycle operations. Supporting Clutch’s software platform that helps credit unions deliver digital lending.
Responsibilities:
- Run programs and systems covering employee engagement, recognition, performance, and compensation-cycle logistics
- Manage onboarding, offboarding, employee lifecycle changes, and compliance operations end to end
- Partner with People leadership, IT, Legal, and Finance
- Improve HR Operations processes and automate manual work
- Review compliance documentation and identify gaps across states and entities
- Independently run core People Operations workflows
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns
- Establish accountability and check-ins with payroll, HRIS, and other systems vendors
- Support employee engagement and recognition programming, company-wide meetings, and celebrations
- Own day-to-day US benefits administration, including employee questions, open enrollment, and carrier/broker coordination
- Own communications, training, and playbooks for the H2 performance and compensation review cycle
- Own the employee recognition program end to end
- Maintain audit-ready compliance documentation across every state of operation
- Report to the Senior Manager, People Operations
Requirements:
- 4-6+ years in an HR Operations, People Operations, or HR Generalist role
- Demonstrated program management experience
- Ability to launch and run company-wide programs from concept through execution
- Experience owning payroll, HRIS, and LMS vendor relationships
- Ability to map processes, identify friction points, and redesign workflows
- Working knowledge of employment law and HR compliance requirements across multiple states or entities
- Sound judgment on when to handle issues directly and when to escalate to People leadership
- Ability to facilitate meetings and run programs for employees at every level
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Hands-on experience using AI agents and automations to optimize recurring HR operations work
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
