Job Description

Bilingual Pharmacy Technician supporting Rightway’s digital pharmacy benefits platform. Resolving member, provider, and pharmacy questions across phone, chat, email, claims, and clinical programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for members, providers, and pharmacies across phone, chat, email, and written correspondence
  • Resolve inquiries about mail order, benefit design, formulary coverage, medication cost, prior authorization criteria, and claims adjudication
  • Support interactions across phone, chat, email, and other digital channels while maintaining quality and service standards
  • Assist network pharmacies with prescription claim processing and review claims against benefit guidelines and contract standards
  • Support clinical pharmacists with patient and provider outreach, appointment scheduling, clinical program enrollment, and medication-adherence follow-up
  • Document interactions and resolutions in internal systems for continuity of care, quality assurance, compliance, and operational reporting
  • Own issues from initial contact through final resolution and coordinate with internal teams as needed
  • Use AI-enabled tools and internal knowledge systems to resolve inquiries and document interactions
  • Foster a cooperative, respectful, and diverse team environment and take on assigned duties and projects

Requirements:

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish
  • Active/current National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA)
  • 1 to 3 years of pharmacy technician experience in a health plan, retail pharmacy, TPA, or PBM contact center role
  • Mail order or specialty pharmacy experience is a strong fit
  • Working knowledge of pharmacy claims adjudication, benefit design, and PBM terminology
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and analytical
  • Ability to identify and resolve root causes
  • Empathetic and intellectually curious
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize across phone, chat, and email queues
  • Ability to support multiple lines of business and shifting priorities
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience
