Job Description
Remote California-licensed PT/PTA conducting virtual pelvic-health intake calls. Educating prospective patients and coordinating evaluations with Pelvic Path Physical Therapy’s in-person clinical team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-scheduled virtual, non-diagnostic Discovery & Intake Calls with prospective patients
- Discuss how pelvic health physical therapy can address patient concerns
- Provide high-level clinical education on pelvic floor health while maintaining scope-of-practice boundaries
- Reconnect with past inquiries and warm leads via phone, email, and text
- Help prospective patients commit to starting care and schedule comprehensive 1-on-1 evaluations with the in-person clinical team
- Log accurate call notes, patient goals, and intake details in EMR/CRM platforms
- Coordinate seamless handoffs to evaluating clinicians
- Avoid clinical diagnostics and treatment-plan prescribing; diagnostic evaluations are performed by in-clinic Physical Therapists
Requirements:
- Active, unrestricted Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in California (Required)
- Experienced or highly comfortable discussing pelvic floor health topics, including bowel/bladder, pelvic pain, pregnancy/postpartum, and sexual wellness
- Strong interpersonal and active listening skills
- Ability to build immediate trust and help hesitant callers take the next step in their care
- Proficient with EMR systems, CRM platforms, online scheduling software, and Google Workspace
- Availability for approximately 10+ hours/week with flexible block scheduling
- Occasional evening availability preferred based on booking trends
- PTA staff must work under the direction and supervision of a licensed California Physical Therapist
