Job Description

Policy Administration Specialist supporting full life cycle of group insurance policies. Managing billing records, payments, and customer service while ensuring accuracy and retention.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain complex group billing and premium collection records, including alternate funding arrangements
  • Apply, track, and reconcile premium payments; research and correct discrepancies
  • Communicate policy information, changes, and service options to policyholders, producers, TPAs, and internal partners
  • Implement policy amendments and renewals by analyzing changes and updating system records
  • Support retention efforts by resolving issues related to non-payment, lapses, and terminations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 + years of demonstrated Insurance customer service experience required
  • Experience with billing, accounting principles, or premium administration
  • Experience with group insurance billing or premium collection systems preferred
  • Working knowledge of complex group contract provisions and billing support systems
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and related applications
  • Ability to work remotely in Pacific time zone hours
