Job Description

Manager of Pre-Access overseeing the Patient Access department at Ensemble. Leading improvement initiatives for customer service and departmental performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning, developing, organizing, and managing the Patient Access department.
  • Responsible for performance and effectiveness of department(s).
  • Responsible for coaching and development of all staff.
  • Implementing short and long-term plans and objectives to improve customer service.
  • Collecting, interpreting, and communicating performance data.
  • Works closely with ancillary departments to establish and maintain positive relations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 – 3 year’s management experience in healthcare industry.
  • Demonstrated advanced usage of AI and the management of teams using AI.
  • Patient Access experience preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft a must.
  • Ability to balance numerous priorities, therefore requiring great skills in prioritization.
  • Ability to understand and master numerous computer applications.
  • Patient Access experience with managed care/insurance and Call Center experience highly preferred.
  • Required Certification: HFMA Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) within 9 months of hire or other approved job relevant certification
