Job Description

Pricing Analyst analyzing pricing metrics and supporting strategic decisions at Deel's pricing strategy. Using data to drive growth, profitability, and customer value in global pricing models.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze pricing performance metrics — margins, average selling prices, and revenue impact.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking to track market pricing and positioning.
  • Run price sensitivity and elasticity analyses to understand customer responses to pricing changes.
  • Support win/loss analysis with sales data to assess pricing effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports (in Excel, Looker, or similar BI tools) to monitor pricing KPIs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date price lists, discount structures, and pricing rules.
  • Support price updates in CPQ systems and coordinate with Sales Enablement to ensure smooth execution.
  • Contribute to pricing strategy development, including segmentation, value-based pricing, and tiering models.
  • Build and maintain financial models to simulate pricing scenarios and quantify profitability impacts.
  • Support pricing for new product or reseller launches, assessing different pricing structures and discounting strategies.
  • Partner with the Sales team on deal reviews, providing pricing guidance and insights.
  • Collaborate with Product teams to incorporate cost changes or new feature value into pricing models.
  • Work with Marketing to support competitive positioning and go-to-market initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in pricing analysis, financial modeling, revenue operations, or a similar analytical role.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (experience with Looker, SQL, or other BI tools a plus).
  • Familiarity with SaaS pricing models, revenue metrics, and margin analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment with global stakeholders.
