Job Description
SAP IS Retail Project Manager overseeing planning, execution, and delivery of retail projects. Ensuring alignment with business objectives and SAP best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning, executing, and delivering SAP IS Retail projects on time, within scope, and budget
- Align solutions to retail business objectives and SAP best practices
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
- Develop and manage detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, resource plans, and cost estimates
- Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate work across various departments
- Create project governance, manage risks, issues, and dependencies
- Serve as a primary point of contact for project sponsors and stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to chosen delivery methodology
- Oversee key project activities such as business requirements, solution design reviews, testing cycles,
- cutover planning, and go-live/hyper care
- Manage project financial management: budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting.
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing full lifecycle SAP projects
- Focus on SAP IS Retail or SAP Retail solutions
- Good understanding of core retail processes (merchandising, pricing, promotions, inventory, store operations)
- Project management certification preferred
- Any SAP or Agile certifications are an advantage.
