Job Description
Senior Project Manager leading end-to-end delivery of large and extra-large initiatives at Instacart. Focusing on customer experience through strategic project management and AI-enabled operating capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Hero Projects and other L/XL initiatives
- Drive the strategic initiatives that build, scale, and operationalize the PMO's AI-enabled operating model
- Partner with senior leaders across CX, Product, Engineering, Tech Governance, and operational teams
- Build executive-ready decks, written updates, and visualizations for Director- and VP-level audiences
- Recommend improvements to PMO standards, frameworks, and best practices
- Lead upstream planning before each half starts
- Manage dependencies and align resources across teams
Requirements:
- 5+ years of project management experience
- Demonstrated success leading L/XL cross-functional programs end-to-end
- Track record of applying sophisticated problem-solving to ambiguous, interconnected challenges
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience creating high-quality project artifacts and presenting to senior leadership
- Proven ability to manage dependencies and deliver results on time
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
