Job Description
Medtronic healthcare technology supervisor leading pain-intervention prior authorization and reimbursement operations. Managing teams, payer processes, compliance, and patient access from Minnesota.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily prior authorization and reimbursement support operations for pain intervention therapies
- Coach, develop, and manage team performance to achieve service, quality, and productivity objectives
- Monitor payer requirements, coverage policies, and authorization processes to support timely patient access
- Resolve complex reimbursement, coverage, and escalation issues with payers, providers, and internal stakeholders
- Analyze operational metrics and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience
- Partner with reimbursement, sales, clinical, and patient access teams to address coverage and payment barriers
- Develop and deliver training on prior authorization workflows, payer requirements, and reimbursement processes
- Ensure compliance with company policies, payer guidelines, and applicable healthcare regulations
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of experience OR Associate's Degree and 3+ years of experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 1+ year of supervisory experience OR 3+ years of customer service experience
- Experience in customer service, patient access, reimbursement support, prior authorization, or healthcare operations
- Experience leading, supervising, coaching, or directing the work of employees or teams
- Experience working with healthcare payers, insurance verification, authorization processes, or reimbursement activities
- Proficiency with customer service systems and Microsoft Office applications
- U.S. work authorization must be unrestricted at the time of hire and for the duration of employment; sponsorship is not offered for roles below Principal level
- For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
