Job Description
Product Lead creating and productizing AI-powered solutions at SmartDev, a Vietnam-based software development company. Validating demand, shaping commercial offerings, and turning client projects into reusable capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Interview customers, prospects, and delivery teams
- Size demand and willingness to pay
- Decide which opportunities deserve further investment
- Define the problem, buyer, workflow, value, delivery model, and commercial model for each solution family
- Recommend when to expand, narrow, or discontinue solution families
- Work with Engineering and Delivery to turn engagement learnings into reusable templates, datasets, and playbooks
- Define pricing logic, commercial models, and hand-off points with Build & Run
- Protect NORA from becoming a general AI consulting practice, prototype factory, or platform built ahead of proven demand
- Spend time with Sales and customers
- Report portfolio progress using conversion, reuse, and margin evidence
Requirements:
- A track record of creating and launching new products
- Personally identified, researched, and brought a product to market
- Strong market research skills
- Experience running customer interviews, competitor analysis, and demand/pricing research
- Commercial judgement across professional-services, software, or hybrid models
- Product strategy fluency across software vs. services, platform vs. focused solution, and project vs. recurring revenue trade-offs
- AI literacy sufficient to discuss architecture, limitations, evaluation, and cost with technical teams
- Excellent written and verbal English
- Nice-to-have: experience with compliance, KYC/onboarding, document processing, exception handling, or policy-controlled operations
- Structured, evidence-first mindset
- Credibility across commercial, technical, and delivery teams
