Job Description
Product Manager owning backlogs, requirements, and launch execution for Olly Olly’s software, automation, and managed services serving local businesses. Remote across Mexico, Brazil, or Colombia.
Responsibilities:
- Own and maintain a healthy, prioritized product backlog aligned to company priorities
- Break down initiatives into epics, stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation-ready requirements
- Partner with engineering to scope, refine, and sequence work
- Ensure teams focus on high-impact opportunities with minimal ambiguity
- Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and delivery follow-through
- Translate product direction into actionable requirements and user stories
- Drive work through the product development lifecycle from discovery to launch
- Identify dependencies, risks, edge cases, and operational considerations
- Partner with design to ground workflows and requirements in user needs
- Support launch readiness, user acceptance testing, and post-launch learning
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Operations, and other stakeholders
- Gather stakeholder and customer input to shape requirements and priorities
- Facilitate alignment on scope, timing, and quality tradeoffs
- Improve requirement quality, acceptance criteria, release readiness, prioritization, documentation, and execution processes
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar product delivery role
- Experience working closely with software engineering teams in agile environments
- Strong ability to write user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional requirements
- Demonstrated skill in backlog management, prioritization, and cross-functional coordination
- Strong communication and organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and bring structure to fast-moving environments
- Comfortable balancing strategic context with hands-on execution
- Preferred: experience in SaaS, vertical software, SMB technology, marketplaces, or workflow tools
- Preferred: experience supporting products blending software and operational/service components
- Preferred: familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Figma, and analytics platforms
- Preferred: experience with customer-facing workflows such as lead management, communications, onboarding, or growth operations
- Preferred: exposure to AI-enabled products, automation, or internal operational tooling
- Preferred: genuine enthusiasm for AI and hands-on experimentation, building, prototyping, or independent projects
- Preferred: foundational LLM knowledge including prompting, fine-tuning, embeddings, retrieval, and evaluation
- Preferred: proficiency with Cursor, Bolt, Claude Code, Figma, and Git
- Preferred: strong command of data, experimentation, and decision-making
- Preferred: ability to bridge technical and non-technical perspectives
- Preferred: exceptional written and verbal communication and storytelling ability
