Job Description
Product Manager shaping AI-powered assurance workflows for Caseware, a Canadian fintech building audit and financial reporting software. Translating audit expertise into global platform strategy and AI capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key internal subject matter expert on assurance workflows and financial audit methodology for product, engineering, sales, and partner teams
- Engage with global partners and key customers to understand workflows, challenges, and expectations
- Ensure platform features support compliant solutions
- Bring audit practice perspective into product decisions
- Engage with AI tools in daily work
- Contribute expertise to AI-driven product capabilities and define methodological value for AI-assisted audit
- Stay current on AI's impact on audit workflows, regulatory expectations, and the profession
- Own the product roadmap and collaborate with other product managers to prioritize pain points and solutions
- Define and prioritize requirements based on customer feedback and market trends
- Coordinate cross-functional release readiness with platform, consulting, support, and partner-facing teams
- Act as a primary product contact for global partners and translate their needs into platform improvements
- Partner with Sales, Pre-Sales, Support, and Consulting to incorporate customer insights and escalation feedback into the roadmap
- Communicate product decisions, priorities, and trade-offs to stakeholders across geographies
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of product management experience
- Meaningful hands-on experience in financial audit or assurance
- Understanding of audit workflows and ability to engage with auditors at a peer level
- Ability to translate domain expertise and customer feedback into clear, prioritized product requirements
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams in a global environment
- Openness and genuine curiosity about AI
- Familiarity with audit standards and regulatory frameworks relevant to financial engagements (e.g., ISA, GAAS, PCAOB) (nice to have)
- Experience with Caseware's audit or engagement management software (nice to have)
- Exposure to platform thinking (nice to have)
- Experience in a global or multi-market product environment (nice to have)
