Job Description

Product Owner managing CAD/CAM software backlogs for Mastercam’s manufacturing solutions. Translating product roadmaps into Agile requirements and guiding software delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with the Product Manager to manage and prioritize the product backlog for EverPath Technology, Probing, and Multiaxis Milling
  • Translate product strategy and roadmap objectives into epics, user stories, and defects
  • Provide clear direction to Agile development teams
  • Guide delivery of high-quality software solutions aligned with product priorities, customer needs, and business goals
  • Champion the team in building high-quality products
  • Partner with developers to deliver results in a timely, agile manner
  • Identify business needs and define product-feature requirements with Product Managers and stakeholders
  • Present product ideas, strategies, and designs to internal and external stakeholders
  • Work with the scrum team to develop and deliver new features using Agile methodologies
  • Create and maintain prioritized, detailed work item backlogs
  • Work with QC and Tech Service to support the Mastercam community and manage software-change requests through Digital.AI Agility
  • Provide visibility into project progress
  • Validate new features with internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to long-term roadmaps and release planning
  • Promote products and support the Mastercam community through conferences, trade shows, open houses, visits, rollout meetings, forums, and social media
  • Participate in professional, technical, and career development training
  • Perform other duties as directed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering related discipline, or equivalent experience required
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner preferred
  • 6–9 years' experience in a technical CAD/CAM environment in Product Management
  • Practical experience and clear understanding of modern software development methodologies, preferably in an Agile environment
  • Creative, critical, analytical, and effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to assess risks
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized
  • Ability to work independently with self-direction
  • Proven time management skills
  • Ability to work and lead successfully in a team environment
  • Above average written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to provide accurate and timely information succinctly and clearly
