Job Description
Project Execution Manager overseeing ECP lifecycle and IT infrastructure projects at Hunter Strategy. Collaborating on complex software engineering and risk management solutions with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete ECP lifecycle: development, execution, and closeout
- Develop Project Management Plans (PMP), Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
- Oversee approximately 800 ECPs annually including Small, Medium, Large, and Complex projects
- Coordinate with customer account managers to capture and validate requirements
- Monitor and control project budgets and schedules
- Ensure turnkey delivery of specification-compliant, full mission-capable solutions
- Manage expedited ECP delivery (72-hour turnaround) when required
- Conduct Quality Assurance inspections and manage delivery acceptance process
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in information systems, computer sciences, business management, or related field
- Master's Degree (preferred)
- 5+ years as a Lead Project Manager
- 5+ years in DoD IT environment
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Demonstrated Experience Requirements: Demonstrated experience with business cases and risk management processes
- Proven self-management and team-management skills
- Demonstrated experience monitoring and controlling project budgets
- Demonstrated managerial, leadership, and communication skills
