Job Description
Project Manager owning live Oracle Cloud HCM remediation and continuous improvement workstreams. Coordinating payroll, integrations, suppliers, and formal governance for a UK financial services organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Own an Oracle Cloud HCM programme workstream end to end
- Manage the plan, budget, dependencies, risks, and delivery commitment
- Work alongside Product Owners, Architects, Test Managers, service management, and supplier teams
- Take changes through formal governance to live with quality gates and Go/No-Go decisions
- Plan around Oracle’s quarterly update cycle and fixed payroll cut-offs
- Deliver remediation and continuous improvement on a live HR and payroll estate
- Coordinate dependencies across payroll, finance systems, integrations, reporting platforms, and downstream applications
Requirements:
- Project management experience on the Oracle Cloud HCM platform
- Experience as the person accountable for the plan and outcome, rather than as a functional consultant
- Oracle Fusion Cloud experience; E-Business Suite or PeopleSoft background alone is not suitable
- Experience delivering on a platform already in production
- Experience with remediation and continuous improvement work
- Comfort with Oracle Cloud’s quarterly release cadence and required regression testing
- Exposure to payroll cut-offs, parallel running, and payroll dependencies
- Experience working through formal change governance with auditable approval evidence
- Experience coordinating delivery across suppliers and internal teams who do not report to you
- Financial services experience preferred
- Regulated change exposure; experience in insurance, banking, building society, or another regulated firm counts
- Availability at short notice preferred for the first wave
- Candidates already in the UK preferred
- CV must clearly identify Oracle Cloud HCM projects managed, ownership, whether the platform was live, current programme summary, and notice position
Benefits:
- Contract for six months initially, to 31 March 2027
- Remote-based work
- Start dates in early October 2026, with two positions starting 1 October 2026
- Day rate and IR35 status to be confirmed before submission
