Job Description

Trust Accounting Specialist supporting property management companies remotely with accounting needs. Responsibilities include managing trust accounts, bank reconciliations, and client communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily trust accounting in AppFolio and Rentvine
  • Process AP/AR, tenant charges, credits, and owner adjustments
  • Prepare owner statements and review management fees
  • Handle bank reconciliations and troubleshoot issues
  • Process vendor payments and manage security deposits
  • Communicate clearly with U.S. clients
  • Follow SOPs and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

  • AppFolio and/or Rentvine experience (required) — real-world, not just training
  • Accounting background or strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Strong English writing skills
  • Intermediate Excel / Google Sheets skills
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving
  • Reliable internet connection
  • Ability to work U.S. hours (partial MST/CST/EST overlap)
  • Property management accounting experience (preferred)
  • Bank reconciliation experience (preferred)
  • Google Suite experience (preferred)
