Job Description
Provider Compensation Analyst designing physician compensation programs for Providence, a multiservice healthcare organization. Analyzing market data, CPT coding, proformas, and fair-market-value plans.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and design provider compensation programs
- Gather and analyze data
- Review CPT coding
- Create proformas
- Develop reports
- Conduct provider market analysis
- Model compensation plans for newly hired physicians, acquisitions, and contract renewals
- Participate on implementation teams for new acquisitions brought onto the system
- Research legal compliance, trends, and market surveys on provider pay, production, revenue, coding, and billing
- Perform fair market value assessments of provider compensation plans
- Work with third-party firms to obtain and manage external fair market reviews
- Collaborate with the Provider Compensation team and system leaders to develop plans supporting care strategies, quality and performance objectives, financial goals, and provider development activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related area
- 3 years of experience in progressively responsible roles
- Demonstrated compensation design experience
- Finance experience
- Physician practice management experience
- Strong project/change management skills
- Experience with Human Resources, Contracting, and Business Intelligence Software preferred
- Experience with data reporting and analytics tools preferred
