Job Description

Associate Investigator Grants Analyst developing investigator grant budgets and payment schedules for Thermo Fisher Scientific’s clinical studies. Coordinating clients, CRO-related processes, approvals, and site activation activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review and finalize global investigator grant budget and payment schedule terms and conditions templates for multiple studies
  • Develop investigator grant budget negotiation parameters with clients
  • Communicate client processes, procedures and negotiating parameters to local team members
  • Liaise with clients, internal functional teams and Contract Specialists as directed by Contract Managers
  • Assist in developing investigator grant budget grids for applicable countries in assigned studies
  • Coordinate with therapeutic and operational subject matter experts for grant development
  • Draft payment terms and condition templates for investigator grant budget grids
  • Coordinate internal and external approvals and feedback for investigator grant budget grids and payment schedules
  • Support escalations with external clients for investigator budget development, processes and negotiation parameters
  • Provide approved investigator grant grids, payment schedules, processes and negotiation parameters to local teams
  • Coordinate site startup activities with internal departments and align investigator grant activities with agreed timelines
  • Ensure investigator budget negotiation processes align with site and study critical paths for site activation
  • Adhere to target cycle times for site activations
  • Complete required tracking and reporting

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
  • Previous experience comparable to 0 to 2 years
  • Basic understanding of investigator grant template drafting
  • Ability to review and analyze protocol schedules of events to draft budget grids and payment schedules
  • Basic understanding of pharmaceutical product development and CROs
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good math skills
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Basic proficiency with negotiation and conflict management
  • Cross-cultural awareness
  • Good customer service, problem solving and collaboration skills
  • Basic experience with automated systems and computerized applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word

  • Ability to work in an office/laboratory and/or clinical environment
