Job Description

Audit Manager joining one of the fastest-growing accountancy firms in the UK. Expanding Public Sector audit services and supporting client relationships across the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a varied portfolio of public sector audit clients across the UK
  • Leading audit delivery, ensuring compliance with audit standards and regulatory requirements
  • Training and mentoring junior staff, helping them grow professionally
  • Building trusted relationships with clients and acting as their key point of contact
  • Overseeing financial performance and risk management of your portfolio
  • Supporting broader firm initiatives, including business development and service innovation

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualified
  • Proven experience in public sector audit, with strong familiarity with sector-specific regulatory and frameworks
  • Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the public sector’s financial environment
  • Proven ability to lead teams, support colleagues, and help others grow in their roles
  • A proactive, collaborative approach to problem-solving
