Job Description
Audit Manager joining one of the fastest-growing accountancy firms in the UK. Expanding Public Sector audit services and supporting client relationships across the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a varied portfolio of public sector audit clients across the UK
- Leading audit delivery, ensuring compliance with audit standards and regulatory requirements
- Training and mentoring junior staff, helping them grow professionally
- Building trusted relationships with clients and acting as their key point of contact
- Overseeing financial performance and risk management of your portfolio
- Supporting broader firm initiatives, including business development and service innovation
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualified
- Proven experience in public sector audit, with strong familiarity with sector-specific regulatory and frameworks
- Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the public sector’s financial environment
- Proven ability to lead teams, support colleagues, and help others grow in their roles
- A proactive, collaborative approach to problem-solving
