Job Description
Senior IT Engineer providing expert support across systems, servers, and cloud environments. Collaborating with clients and mentoring junior engineers in a fully remote setup.
Responsibilities:
- Be consistently reliable, proactive, and solution-oriented
- Act as a technical escalation point for complex infrastructure issues
- Deliver expert support across systems, servers, networks, and cloud environments
- Maintain and improve internal documentation, KB articles, and SOPs
- Analyze issues deeply to identify root causes—not just symptoms
- Collaborate with clients and guide them through technical resolutions
- Mentor and support junior engineers through knowledge sharing
- Identify recurring issues and contribute to long-term fixes and improvements
- Participate in on-call or after-hours escalation rotations as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior IT Engineer or similar role (preferably in MSP or enterprise environments)
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
- Solid experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and hybrid environments
- Strong understanding of networking (LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, firewalls)
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or similar
- Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Azure, CCNA, or equivalent) are a plus
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, support, or engineering roles
