Job Description
Strategic Sourcing Lead driving supplier strategy and sustainability initiatives across European sites. Managing procurement while reducing costs and enhancing supplier relationships for a global leader in innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Drive strategic sourcing initiatives for key and tail spend materials across European sites
- Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting for assigned categories
- Manage strategic projects including supplier consolidation, cost optimization, and supply chain resilience
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships, including onboarding and performance management
- Drive sustainability initiatives such as supplier code of conduct, Ecovadis ratings, and compliance tracking
- Assess supply base to identify risks and implement risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement/Supply Chain, Engineering, Chemistry, Finance, or Business
- Min. 5+ years of experience in Procurement or Strategic Sourcing within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of category management and supply market trends
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with sustainability and compliance frameworks
