Job Description

Sourcing Engineer supporting sourcing and procurement activities at Capgemini Engineering. Collaborating on supplier selection, cost analysis, and compliance requirements while maintaining documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Support sourcing process execution, including Workflow initiation, Legal checklist coordination, Procure to Pay (P2P) activities, Supplier technical reviews, Supplier transitions, SPMC activities and Total Landed Cost (TLC) analysis
  • Assist in RFQ preparation and execution, including data collection, RFQ package creation, and proposal comparison
  • Act as a point of support between the materials team and suppliers (PIP activities)
  • Support supplier outreach, selection activities, follow ups, and communication
  • Perform analysis related to Cost structures, Tariff impacts, Total landed cost, Savings opportunities and Supplier capabilities
  • Maintain sourcing documentation, trackers, and reports in collaboration with the PMO office
  • Ensure sourcing activities comply with regulatory, trade, and internal sourcing requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or analytics roles
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to learn corporate systems and tools such as Oracle, MWS, Smartsheet, BI tools, and Spotfire
  • Experience with Excel and basic to intermediate Power BI or similar reporting tools
  • Basic understanding of supplier relationship management
  • Foundational project management skills including tracking milestones and deliverables
  • Interest in negotiation, cost analysis, and problem solving
  • Ability to understand and explain total landed cost, savings, and sourcing impact, with guidance
  • Proficient in English.
