Job Description
Purchasing Coordinator executing inventory procurement plans for National Educational Music Company. Remote role responsible for purchase orders and vendor coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process purchase order requisitions from the field locations
- Verify pricing and terms
- Submit completed POs to corresponding vendors
- Accumulate and process shipment verifications from field locations and help resolve discrepancies
- Provide product pricing and availability information to field staff
- Respond to and research special order requests
- Perform other related duties as assigned for the purpose of maintaining an effective field assortment mix and excellent customer service
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to receive advice and training of skilled colleagues
- Previous experience in musical instrument sales or purchasing
- Working knowledge of musical instruments and related products
- Understanding of general purchasing procedures
- Compliance with company attendance standards
