Job Description
QA Automation Developer enhancing Salesforce customizations for mortgage financing technology. Engaging in test automation, system testing, and regression testing within Salesforce applications.
Responsibilities:
- Review manual test cases for Salesforce customizations and advise the project team on their suitability for automation.
- Support, maintain, and optimize all test automation activities during iterative development, system testing, and regression testing across multiple Salesforce releases.
- Analyze user stories and functional requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage of standard and custom Salesforce objects.
- Contribute to manual testing by executing test cases and scripts for features under development using test management tools.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and scenarios/scripts in accordance with established QA standards and methodologies.
- Set up, configure, and administer Salesforce test environments for test execution.
- Participate in the development, deployment, and administration of QA processes and tools, as well as CI/CD technologies within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Design, author, and execute automation scripts with Playwright or other tools, specifically tailored to Salesforce interfaces.
Requirements:
- More than 3 years of software testing experience, including significant experience with Salesforce applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud).
- More than 2 years of experience with automated functional testing tools, preferably Playwright.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with a strong understanding of the Salesforce security model.
- Experience with Postman for API testing, particularly with Salesforce REST and Bulk APIs.
- Experience with agile methodologies, frequent delivery cycles, and Salesforce deployment processes.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Git, along with familiarity with SOQL and a basic understanding of Apex.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder) are a significant asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science: an asset.
