Job Description
QA Lead at Aphex overseeing end-to-end regression testing while collaborating with teams to ensure quality standards. Work on a platform revolutionizing construction project management.
Responsibilities:
- Establish a consistent testing schedule for regression testing to ensure timely and thorough evaluation of the software. Maintain this cadence to meet the quality standards set for the team.
- Recruit and select qualified QA team members to establish a skilled internal team. Lead the team effectively as it grows, ensuring high standards of quality assurance are maintained.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining E2E test suites at scale with Playwright
- Demonstrable experience managing test flake — diagnosing root causes, setting and enforcing flake budgets, keeping suites trusted
- Experience managing an external QA vendor from the client side (defining scope, directing work, managing transition)
- Experience partnering with Product Managers on acceptance criteria and E2E test specification
- Experience with CI integration, test parallelisation, environment management, and test reporting
- Has owned a test suite end-to-end, not just contributed to one
- Can articulate a point of view on the test pyramid and where E2E fits
- Strong written communication — async / remote-first, working across timezones
