Job Description
Infrastructure Engineer supporting EOS’s global commercial AV and collaboration technology ecosystem. Automating Q-SYS, Shure, Dante, and video conferencing deployments across converged networks.
Responsibilities:
- Own implementation and support of AV technologies for global deployment projects
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and AV integrators to design, automate, and deploy solutions aligned with company standards
- Develop and manage scripts, tools, and automation pipelines for provisioning and managing AV systems
- Analyze, test, install, document, and support audio/video over IP solutions in a global converged network environment
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for AV operations and production upgrades
- Produce scopes of work, AV schematics, documentation, and vendor communications for installations and retrofits
- Identify and recommend technologies and automation strategies to improve scalability and efficiency
- Maintain detailed documentation of deployed AV configurations, change history, and versioning
- Lead or assist with root cause analysis and long-term resolution of AV issues
- Mentor junior engineers in troubleshooting and automation techniques
- Develop project timelines, resource estimates, and product refresh schedules
- Serve as Tier 3 support for complex AV production issues and escalations
- Travel up to 20% for deployments, testing, and operational support
- Own full project lifecycle from requirements gathering and design reviews through deployment and operational support
- May require occasional off-hours work
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- QSC Q-SYS certification
- Strong remote support experience
- 4+ years in a corporate IT or AV integration environment, with at least 3 years working directly with commercial AV systems
- Proficient in supporting video conferencing platforms such as Google Meet, Zoom, Logitech, and Neat
- Programming and automation experience with Python, Ansible, or PowerShell
- Strong understanding of AV over IP technologies and networking fundamentals
- Experience with AV control system logic and user interface design is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and a proactive mindset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; capable of translating technical concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience supporting live production events or hybrid broadcast-style setups is a bonus
