Job Description
Regional Market Manager for Commercial Construction sales team managing key distribution partners and driving market share growth across MEP sectors. Collaborating with a diverse team and launching new products in multiple locations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team made of a MEP Agency Manager and Regional Account Manager, overseeing agency partners and key distribution partners
- Foster and maintain relationships with key distribution partners and end-users in the market
- Maintain a pipeline of prospective end-users and prioritize key users in the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing industry
- Support regional assets in planning and executing successful counter-day events
- Launch of new products within the region and keep all relevant parties updated
- Keep management and marketing updated on competitor trends and changes
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the product line and applications in the Mechanical/Plumbing/HVAC Channel
- Drive market share growth and increase top-line sales in the assigned market
- Prepare and execute key product demonstrations for end-users and counter days
- Coordinate promotions, COOP, and marketing support for account growth and sales.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related fields
- Master’s Degree preferred
- Relevant construction field experience (could be a substitute for higher education)
- 5+ years of experience in Sales or Marketing for Construction Supplies (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) with a proven track record delivering results preferred
- 3 years of direct managerial experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Ability to meld empathy with determination to achieve outstanding results
- Valid Driver's License and physical ability to travel up to 50% within territory assignment.
