Job Description
Sales Engineer for CrowdStrike explaining security solutions and working dynamically on multiple projects. Join a mission to redefine endpoint security in the Canadian market.
Responsibilities:
- You must be able to explain how current security solutions are designed and deployed, and why they fail.
- You will be part of a team responsible for changing the market's and customers' perception of what is possible with next-generation endpoint technology.
- You should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment on multiple simultaneous projects.
Requirements:
- Experience in endpoint or network security – AV, EDR, incident response, forensics, SIEM, firewalls, HIPS/IDS, etc.
- Strong understanding of Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems
- Ability to clearly explain complex security issues to diverse audiences
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Ability to collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Support and Engineering teams; the Sales Engineer should serve as the technical bridge between CrowdStrike and prospects/customers
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present to a range of external audiences, including executives
- Extensive network in the cybersecurity community and strong references
- University degree or higher in a relevant field
- Sales engineering experience or 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Ability to travel as required
