Job Description
Research Budget Analyst reviewing clinical trial budgets and Medicare coverage for Baptist Health’s nonprofit healthcare system. Managing PeopleSoft research awards and projects with interdisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities:
- Work with peers/supervisor, principal investigators, research coordinators, research administrators, and other clinical research stakeholders
- Review and negotiate clinical trial budgets with study sponsors
- Perform Medicare coverage analysis
- Establish and manage PeopleSoft awards and projects
- Collaborate with Central Pricing, the Center for Research, Controllership, Physician Contract Management, and other interdisciplinary departments
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- CITI Certification is required or willing to obtain within 3 months
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to organize large sets of data
- Proficiency in arithmetic manipulation, MS Office & Excel
- Excellent attention to details
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects/protocols in coordination with interdisciplinary teams and departments
- Knowledge of laws and regulations relevant to administration of clinical trials and CMS rules and requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology helpful
