Job Description
Research Solutions Analyst delivering legal, regulatory, litigation, and competitive intelligence for Eversheds Sutherland, a global law firm. Building automated monitoring and AI-enabled knowledge solutions for attorneys and business professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced legal, business, regulatory, litigation, and competitive intelligence research
- Design and deliver customized current awareness and self-service programs for attorneys, clients, industries, practice groups, and strategic initiatives
- Develop automated monitoring, alerting, and tracking solutions for legal developments, regulatory changes, litigation activity, client news, market trends, and competitor intelligence
- Partner with attorneys and business professionals to integrate research materials into existing workflows and recommend workflow improvements
- Evaluate, test, and help implement new research, knowledge management, and AI technologies
- Serve as a trusted advisor on research strategy, intelligence gathering, and emerging legal technologies
- Collaborate with Innovation, Marketing and Business Development, IT, and other departments on strategic initiatives
Requirements:
- Master of Library Science (MLS) from an accredited school
- Demonstrated expertise in legal research, analysis, and information resources
- Strong analytical, communication, and consultative skills
- Ability to translate attorney and client needs into practical research and intelligence solutions
- Familiarity with AI-powered research tools, legal research platforms, Microsoft 365, and knowledge management technologies
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) preferred
- Preferred experience in a law firm, legal information provider, or professional services environment
- Preferred experience with competitive intelligence, current awareness, legal technology, workflow automation, or knowledge management
- Preferred experience evaluating and utilizing generative AI tools within a legal environment
