Job Description

Sales Director responsible for strategic business expansion in Germany's defense sector for a leading UK cybersecurity provider. Building relationships and managing complex sales cycles.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic expansion of business in the German defence sector as well as with critical infrastructure (KRITIS) and industrial customers
  • Establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with military end users, procurement organizations, and leading system integrators
  • End-to-end management of complex sales cycles, from proposal strategy and solution positioning through negotiation to successful contract closure
  • Developing, qualifying, and actively managing a high-performing sales pipeline to ensure revenue and growth targets are met
  • Close coordination with technology partners, system integrators, and internal engineering teams to successfully deliver demanding customer projects

Requirements:

  • Several years of sales experience in the defence sector
  • Proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals
  • Experience building and developing new business areas, markets, or customer accounts
  • Demonstrable successes working with public-sector clients and within the defence industry
  • Strong understanding of complex, technically sophisticated solutions
  • Experience managing long, multi-stage procurement and decision-making processes
  • Negotiation-level German and professional business English, both written and spoken
