Job Description
Sales Director leading Account Executives and enterprise growth strategies for Red Hat, a provider of open source Linux, cloud, container, and Kubernetes solutions. Driving revenue targets, solution selling, and strategic customer engagement across the West Region.
Responsibilities:
- Guide a team of Account Executives in promoting a multi-product go-to-market strategy
- Develop and implement growth strategies and a comprehensive solutions approach for strategic customers
- Develop, coach, and mentor the sales team
- Motivate and inspire the team while competing for enterprise market share
- Establish sales goals and monitor quarterly and annual revenue and growth achievement
- Maintain close working relationships with the regional leadership team
- Contribute to the strategic and tactical success of Red Hat’s core business and the company as a whole
Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in a software organization
- Proficiency in profit and loss management
- Proficiency in marketing strategies that contribute to business success
- Experience managing a 60 million-dollar sales team
- Ability to use sales processes, personal knowledge, and solution-selling strategies and methodologies to meet revenue growth objectives
- Ability to guide and promote plan implementation targets
- Relationship-oriented with a solid presence and ability to build credibility at all customer-organization levels, including C-level executives
- Creative approach to managing a sales team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business
