Job Description
Sales Director leading technical sales for Avantor's high-end laboratory design market by managing a sales team. Develop solutions and build customer relationships while driving innovation and improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Lead our technical Sales Specialist team
- Be a key stakeholder as we expand into the high-end laboratory design market
- Understand customer initiatives and bring forward a solution using our capabilities
- Position the Avantor brand as premier in the market
- Lead a team of sales professionals
- Build awareness for the high-end lab laboratory design market
- Recruit, hire, train and build a solid team
- Build pipeline and market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is required; Advanced degree in Architecture, Business, Construction or similar preferred
- 5+ years in laboratory design, laboratory construction, laboratory casework, biosafety or fume hood sales experience
- Working understanding of the construction industry
- Experience using AutoCAD, Revit, CRMs, & PowerBI/Qliksense
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills
- Ability to travel 50%+ (customer sites, meetings, etc.)
