Job Description
Remote Travel Advisor booking cruises, resorts, hotels, and vacation packages for Leisure Life Travel clients. Building relationships, managing reservations, and generating travel sales.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with planning and booking cruises, resorts, vacation packages, hotels, tours, transportation, and other travel services
- Identify client needs, research destinations, compare travel options, and provide accurate pricing and availability information
- Maintain accurate reservation information
- Communicate payment deadlines, travel documentation, supplier policies, itinerary information, and applicable travel requirements
- Maintain client communication and provide follow-up before and after travel
- Respond professionally to inquiries via phone, email, text, social media, and online platforms
- Maintain organized client records and follow up on outstanding requests
- Develop long-term client relationships, repeat bookings, referrals, and client loyalty
- Develop new client relationships, communicate with prospective travelers, follow up with leads, and maintain an active sales pipeline
- Recommend vacation products and identify additional travel opportunities
- Use social media and digital communication channels to promote travel services and attract potential clients
- Become familiar with approved travel suppliers, booking systems, reservation platforms, supplier websites, and travel industry resources
- Complete company, supplier, destination, and industry training
- Manage client communication, reservations, follow-up, training, marketing, and sales activity independently
Requirements:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependable, professional, organized, coachable, and comfortable working independently
- Willingness to learn new technology and travel reservation systems
- Basic computer skills
- Reliable internet access
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with online platforms
- Willingness to learn and consistently apply marketing strategies
- Willingness to participate in company, supplier, destination, and industry training
- Ability to dedicate approximately 15 hours per week
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, reservations, marketing, social media, business development, or the travel industry is helpful but not required
- 1099 Independent Contractor opportunity; not a W-2 employment position
