Job Description
Remote Travel Advisor booking cruises, resorts, and vacation packages for Leisure Life Travel. Building client relationships through sales, referrals, marketing, and follow-up.
Responsibilities:
- Research, plan, and book cruises, resorts, vacation packages, hotels, tours, and other travel experiences
- Communicate directly with clients to understand travel preferences, budgets, destinations, and vacation needs
- Provide accurate information about destinations, pricing, availability, travel options, promotions, supplier policies, and reservation requirements
- Manage reservations and maintain organized client records
- Monitor booking and payment deadlines
- Communicate professionally with clients before and after travel
- Develop new client relationships and follow up with prospective travelers
- Communicate consistently with existing clients
- Generate referrals, encourage repeat bookings, and build a strong client base
- Market travel services and develop professional visibility in the community and online
- Use social media and relationship-based marketing to promote travel services
- Access and use approved cruise line, resort, tour operator, vacation package, and travel supplier systems
- Conduct client communication, prospecting, sales follow-up, social media and marketing, travel research, reservation management, supplier education, and professional training
- Work toward individual business and sales goals
Requirements:
- Houston-area candidates, specifically in the Houston, Texas area
- No previous travel industry experience required
- Willingness to learn and consistently apply marketing strategies
- Willingness to participate in company and supplier training
- Coachable and willing to apply learned material
- Approximately 15 hours per week available for developing the travel business
- Professional, dependable, organized, self-motivated, and comfortable communicating with clients
- Reliable internet access
- Basic computer skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness to follow up, market services, develop clients, complete training, and actively participate in growing the travel business
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, hotels, restaurants, reservations, marketing, social media, business development, or travel is helpful but not required
- Basic knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok is helpful
